CARTA is always looking for volunteers to help us with many different projects. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Executive Director.

Become a Member!
There are two ways to become a CARTA member:

Join by Mail Fill out our membership form and mail it along with your check made out to CARTA. CARTA Membership Form Join Online Options Individual Membership : $25.00USD - yearly Joint Membership : $30.00USD - yearly Institutional/Business Membership : $40.00USD - yearly Student Membership : $15.00USD - yearly

Our members can

• Participate in international conferences and activities that promote, protect, and educate people about the trail.
• Meet exciting people who have researched, documented, recorded, and produced works about the trail.
• Meet people from communities along the Camino Real and learn what they are doing to preserve and protect this international historic treasure for generations to come.
• Receive our quarterly journal, Chronicles of the Trail, which is packed with scholarly articles, illustrations, news, announcements, and information about El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro.
• Promote your community's activities and events in our publications and on our web-site.
• Learn how your family, heritage, and community were influenced and developed by El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro.
